Engineering, not overhead.
TEN INVENT exists because of one pattern we saw for twenty years: companies need senior engineering, and agencies wrap it in layers that slow everything down. So we removed the layers. You get the engineers — and the engineers get to do engineering.
Twenty years, one lesson.
-
2006
First production code
Web developer in Bucharest: PHP, MySQL, and the first payment platform at GECAD ePayment. The habit of caring about what happens after the deploy starts here.
-
2008–2018
The agency decade
Senior engineer, then tech lead and global operations manager at Optaros / MRM Worldwide — high-traffic e-commerce platforms for brands like Deutsche Telekom and Warner Music, and a global DevOps team.
-
2018–2025
Ubisoft: architect, then manager
Software Architect: moved Ubisoft's public-facing games and CRM platforms from private data centres to multi-region AWS. Then Engineering Manager owning the CRM and Customer Support platforms serving players worldwide. Scale, on-call, and the cost of every shortcut.

2025
TEN INVENT
Founded in Bucharest with one rule: the person you talk to is the person who writes the code. First client engagements in the US and EU, first own SaaS products.

2026
Three people, three crafts
Catalin (systems & integrations) and Ovidiu (delivery & quality) join. Still no juniors, still no middle layer — just more senior hands.
Five rules we don't negotiate.
Senior by default
Nobody learns on your budget. Every person on your project has shipped and operated software at scale before.
No layers
No account managers, no project-manager relays. You talk to the engineers, the engineers talk to you. Delivery and reporting is a craft, not a layer.
AI is a capability, not an identity
Like Docker, like Postgres — we use it when it makes sense and skip it when it doesn't. We build with it every day; we don't sell it as magic.
Every line reviewed
AI-assisted tooling makes us faster. A senior engineer reading every change makes us right. Both, always.
Ship, then operate
We run our own SaaS products, so we know what week two looks like. We build what we would be happy to be paged for.
Need senior hands on your project?
Hourly / time-and-materials, fully remote, B2B. You will be talking to the people who build it.
Builders first, believers second.
We integrate LLMs into real systems — Claude agents on AWS Bedrock, MCP servers, RAG pipelines with evals and guardrails around them — and we use AI-assisted tooling for our own delivery. That is a different thing from putting "AI" in a tagline.
- 01Hands-on, not hypothetical — agents and integrations running for clients, not slide decks
- 02Platform-certified — 22 Claude Academy badges, each one publicly verifiable
- 03Honest about limits — when a cron job is the better answer, you get a cron job
The right tool, chosen on purpose.
Our default stack is TypeScript end to end, on AWS. Everything else in the toolbox is there because a real project needed it.
- TypeScript
- Node.js
- PostgreSQL
- Python / FastAPI
- React
- Next.js
- TanStack
- Tailwind CSS
- AWS — ECS/Fargate, RDS, Lambda
- CDK · CloudFormation
- Docker
- CI/CD · observability
- Claude · AWS Bedrock
- Agents · MCP
- RAG · vector stores
- Evals · guardrails
Small by design.
Three people, three crafts — engineering, architecture, delivery. Every engagement gets all three.
